Rossi Still Bothered Shoulder Problems









Losail - Valentino Rossi has not fully recovered from a shoulder injury suffered last year. Shoulder problem that kept him perform optimally in Qatar MotoGP qualifying session.

In the qualifying session at Losail on Saturday (19/03/2011), The Doctor only placing ninth position. Note time Ducati rider is slower 1.5 seconds behind Casey Stoner, who took pole position.

Rossi called the problem in his shoulder so the main cause of its failure to achieve a better starting position.

"I think without that I was having shoulder problems, which caused us to lose 0.5 or 0.6 seconds, we could be there in the second row today, because we were able to develop the setting by making changes that are also important in the future," said Rossi, as quoted by Autosport.

"Today I was able to drive GP11 better, but with soft tires at the end of the session, I began to lose strength. When I tried to make the best lap time, there are some parts of tracks where I could not menggeber motor," added the Italian .

Ninth position did not make Rossi undaunted. He sure can still compete with other drivers, except with Stoner and Dani Pedrosa.

"I think over my shoulder's fine, we will have a speed which is relatively competitive, except from the two Honda riders," he added.

"Let us see how its development from a physical standpoint in the second half of the race, after 11 or 12 laps," added Rossi.
